SB and others have covered it well in the above. Outstanding year, and so many outstanding shows. Some of the early versions of the 70's classics (Working, Beauty) appear in primal form in late summer and fall, and can be an awkward listen (for me), but still historically significant.
I would put my money on the following (note: some of these are also Dr Flashbacks 'top ten' of the year):
All of these are here (at least they were); sorry I cannot post the links to all of them, but with the rec's above, this gives you a lot to choose from.
Of course, the early months (Feb, Mar, Apr) give you shows largely like Live Dead et al, with in my mind, MtnMoon-->DS being one of the highlights (eg, check out 4-5). Then, the summer shows give you some transition toward the dramatic changes associated with 70 and the acoustic, countrified, Americana DEAD. The fall pushes along further in that spirit, with less of the Live Dead standards and more of the new, yet to come in their full bodied splendor.
